Vijayakanth’s next match

Engal Asan will be Vijayakanth’s next venture after his hit film Arasangam. Captivatingly Vijayakanth’s 150th film Arasangam featuring him in the role of a police instructor is doing well at the box office and collecting good revenue.

Sheryll Brindo, who shared the screen with Vijayakanth in Arasangam is cast opposite the ‘Captain’ again. This film is being produced by Sundara Travels Thangaraj, Engal Asan features Vijayakanth as a bank man. Sheryll Brindo plays Vijayakanth’s ladylove in Engal Asan. In Arasangam, Sheryll played a young Canadian, who helps Vijayakanth in investigating a crime. This film’s story is entirely different than that of his earlier films.

It is a suspense thriller based on the story taking place in a village. To mention about the climax of the film, it will be different something unexpected by the viewers. The suspense of the story starts from the very beginning. There will be number of altercation and fights with the heroine. This film will also have some punching dialogues. In Engal Asan Vijay’s cousin Vikrant will play second lead and is likely to do all the romance with two leading ladies Suja and Akshya.

The film has music by Sabesh Murali and is directed by Thankaraj. Vijayakanth will act in a film directed by Selva and another for Lakshmi Movie Makers.
