Mani Rathnam done with Rs.120 Crore deal

Ace filmmaker Mani Rathnam swayed across the boundaries of globe with his previous super hit movie ‘Guru’ that was multi-lingual. After 2 years of sabbatical gap, he is back again to make a multilingual film in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

Abhishek Bacchan plays lead role with Govinda playing negative role in Hindi while Vikram plays lead role in both Telugu and Tamil versions with Prithviraj as villain and Karthik in prominent role. Aishwarya Rai Bacchan is the heroine in all these three versions and A.R. Rahman scores music. Earlier, P.C.Sriram was supposed to handle camera works and now we have Manikandan replacing him.

Shooting for this untitled film will hit the floors on September 10 simultaneously in deep thick forests of Pollacchi and Madhya Pradesh. Anil Ambani of Reliance Films has agreed to produce the film on first copy basis for Rs.120Crores. At the moment, Mani Rathnam has refused to speak on this film with any of the media channels.
