Madhavan’s Leelai shelved
Leelai movie which had Madhavan and Sada in the lead roles has run into financial problems and hence the movie has been shelved. Leelai was to be directed by film director, Kona Venkat who to make his directing debut in the Tamil film. The film was also to be dubbed as Adi Oka Idhi Le in Telugu, with the same cast and crew.
The movie had Madhavan, Shamita Shetty and Sadha in the title roles and was to be produced by noted director and producer Ram Gopal Varma. This movie was remake of Ram Gopal Varma’s Hindi film ‘Darling’.
The movie has been officially put in the cans and ‘Leelai’ is now being used for another project from producer Aascar Ravichandran. Shiv Pandit, a mumbai model will make his debut with Aascar Ravichandran’s Leelai.
