'Rajni Perai Ketaale': Rajinikanth's biography released Now for all of Rajinikanth's fans comes a book that puts the facts before fiction in an entertaining way. Yes! A biography to beat all biographies, 'Rajni Perai Ketaale' penned by Dr. Gayathri Srikanth, an ophthalmologist by profession, was released yesterday. This is a Tamil translation of the English version which was released a couple of years ago. There have been additions and corrections to the content of the English version before translating in Tamil. Rajni Perai Kettale, an absorbing and entertaining account about one of the greatest phenomenons of our times, was brought out jointly by Om Books International, Savera Hotel and Dr. Duraiswamy Eye Hospital yesterday. Kalaignar Kanimozhi Karunanidhi released the first copy and presented it to Ms. Nina Reddy, Savera Hotels' proprietrix amidst much fanfare. Directors S.P. Muthuraman, P. Vasu, actors Sivakumar, Srikanth, Narien, Sandhya, Keerthi Chawla and songstress Shoba Chandrasekhar were among the luminaries present to welcome this piece of film literature into the mainstream.
