Siddu (Siddarth) is the son of an over caring father (Prakash Raj) and concerned mother (Jayasudha). Since childhood Siddu’s father is the decision maker in the personal aspects of his son.
Siddhu gets along with the interest of his father with respect and understanding. But he firmly takes a decision to work out independent interest in the matter of marriage.
Eventually Siddu’s father finds a suitable bride for his son. He also gets both of them engaged. But Siddhu falls in love with a straight forward Haasini (Genelia) who is the daughter of a clerk (Kota) in endowments department.
Siddu tries to convince his father but the latter negates. Then Siddu asks his father to observe Haasini for a few days and then come to conclusion. Thus Haasini comes to Siddu’s house and lives there for a few days. Then how Siddu changes, how Haasini feels at his home and how Haasini’s straight forwardness and frankness appeal to Siddu’s family members? The story takes many twists and Haasini denies having permanent relation with Siddu and leaves the place.
Then there starts the real story. How Siddu gets her back and how he convinces everyone including Haasini to marry her? That is the rest of the story.
Although sounds simple family drama, the way it’s taken on to silver screen is impressive.
