Movie Review: Lakshmi

Story:
'Lakshmi' is the story that tells us about the family values and love towards the family members. V.V.Vinayak has come back with a different sentimental storyline and he partly succeeded in it.

Lakshmi Narasimha (Venkatesh) is the responsible elder son in a family who lives with three brothers and two sisters. He owes a factory and leads a happy life. Janardhan (Shiyaji Shinde), a former employee of Lakshmi industries plays tricks to divide Lakshmi's family members by creating differences in them and succeeds in his attempt. There is some flashback which reveals Lakshmi's work in Kolkata, where he meets his ladylove Nandini (Nayanatara) and he has a secretary (Charmy). Due to some reasons Lakshmi needs to help Nandini a sum of rupees. This creates the differences in Lakshmi's family. The family throws Lakshmi away from their home. Lakshmi leaves the home along with his sister. And how did he unite his family and succeded his love forms rest of the story.

Performance:
Though Venkatesh's role seems to be similar as that of his 'Sankranthi', he looks in a new getup in the movie. He has dual images in the movie, one is like a responsible brother and the other is like a straight forward man. Nayanatara played main heroine's role. She plays her part well. Charmi looks gorgeous but has very little to play. The comedy by Suniel is good. Shayaji Shinde's role is adequate. Pradeep Rawat suits well for his role as a Kolkata Don. Revathi and others performed adequately. Ramana Gogula’s music is the highlight in the movie. All the songs have been a hit. Re-recording is good. V.V.Vinayak has kept his promise by selecting a good team and good storyline.
