Bharathiraja’s Bommalattam from June 27
June 9th, 2008Ace director Bharathiraja’s long delayed Bomallattam is now scheduled to release on June 27. The film is said to be a nail bitting thriller about a film director known for his ‘casting couch’ dragged into a murder plot.
Bollywood actor Nana Patekar plays the role of the director while Arjun plays the role of an investigative cop. Kajal Agarwal plays an actress in the film. The movie will be released simultaneously in Hindi titled Bharathiraja’s Cinema. Himesh Reshammiya has composed tunes for the film.
After releasing this movie, Bharathiraja plans to direct a film with all his typical village ingredients. Illayaraja will score for the film after the gap of 17 years. Ayangaran International will produce the film. The official announcement is expected soon.
