Ameer to direct Ajith in a remake
August 12th, 2008Director Ameer, who generally does not believe in making remakes, commented that even he would love to remake a hilarious film Shivaji starrer Baley Pandiya if Ajith agrees to do the lead role. He said that Ajith is a great actor and should shed his action hero image for comedy as well as trail-blazing roles like Superstar Rajinikanth.
He also added that he would consider himself blessed if he got an opportunity to direct Ajith in Baley Pandiya’s remake. Sources say that Ajith is also in the mood of agreeing this offer from a director like Ameer.
After hearing all these, Ayngaran International found an opportunity in Ameer’s wish.
