Ajith again to do a double role film - Kollywood News

The Tamil film industry is abuzz with the news that Ajith has agreed to act in the remake of Hindi film ‘Race’, which will be made by Ashok Amritraj.

The most interesting part of this news is that Ajith will have a double role in this film!

The original ‘Race’ had all the elements of suspense, drama, betrayal, and revenge, as it was a film showcasing the rivalry between two rich brothers, played by Akshay Khanna and Saif Ali Khan. It is heard that after listening to the script, Ajith found it very similar to his roles in ‘Vaali’ and ‘Varalaaru’, and decided to do both the roles. So, if this inside information is true, Ajith will be doing the twin-brother act for the fourth time; Ajith had done it earlier in ‘Vaali’, ‘Villain’, and ‘Varalaaru’.

We had seen Ajith portray rivalry and animosity between brothers in ‘Vaali’, ‘Varalaaru’, and ‘Ashoka’ (Hindi). He had portrayed the darker side of a human being with aplomb. And it is needless to say how efficiently he portrayed the underworld don in ‘Billa’.

And in this remake, Ajith and his fans will have one more reason to go euphoric – a car race scene in the climax!
