Dasavatharam’s Dosavathaaram in US

Dasavathaaram (also known as Dasavatharam) is the first South Indian movie to be released in the US with more than 40 prints. The Tamil version of the film alone will be released in 30 different cities. In the Bay Area, New Jersey, the movie will be released in 3 locations, a first for any South Indian movie.

The tickets sales of the movie is catching up like wildfire. The movie is said to have sold 200 online tickets within a few hours of opening.

Another interesting dimension was added to all the hype around the release. ‘Dosavatharam’, 10 different types of dosas were served to all 250 Kamal fans who participated in the ticket sales event in Chicago.

Jai, Head chef of Dakshin Schaumburg and a lifetime Kamal fan, received the first ticket and was very proud to receive the first paper ticket worldwide of a movie that is expected to make history in Indian cinema. The ticket was issued on behalf of Narmadha Media, the US distributor for Dasavathaaram.

With the euphoria touching such crazy heights across borders, one can only imagine how the festivities will be here in India. Dasavathaaram is all set to rock the cinema world all over.
