Anuya’s negative role in Sundar C. film

Anuya Bhagvath, who made a promising debut in Rajesh-directed Siva Mansula Shakthi (2009) opposite Jiiva, will play a negative role opposite director-turned-actor Sundar C. in his forthcoming film Nagaram Marupakkam, a sequel to Thalainagaram (2006) which marked the debut of Sundar C. as an actor. Reportedly, the actress has said that she was keen to portray this very powerful character which has a footage equal to the hero’s.

Besides acting, Sundar C. will also direct Nagaram Marupakkam. Sundar last directed Rendu, starring Madhavan and Anushka. He stopped direction after he became very successful as an actor with Thalainagaram (2006), Veerappu (2007), Sanda (2008), Ayudham Seivom (2008), Thee (2009) and Aindham Padai (2009). He is currently busy with four films: Murattu Kaalai, Vaadaa, Guru Sishyan and Vettu.
