With the unofficial release of Jaggubhai over internet and home videos, director Shankar has been maintaining the prints of Rettai Suzhi in an international bank locker. The film is produced by director Shankar under the banner name of S Pictures and is directed by debutant Thamira.
The film features ace filmmakers Bharathiraja and K. Balachander in lead roles with kids playing prominent characters. It seems that director Shankar is going for a title change pertaining to the presence of two veterans in this film.
According the buzzes rounding upon air, the film is likely to get renamed as Imayamum Sigaramum. Director K. Balachander has been fondly addressed Iyakunar Sigaram while Bharathiraja as Iyakunar Imayam. Director Shankar has planned to release the film during summer holidays so as to attract children and family audiences.
