Ayyanar – A Film based on mother sentiments

It was earlier Perarasu and few filmmakers projected mother-son sentiments in Kollywood. Well, all of sudden with terms and conditions turning to be much different in here off trendsetting flicks with pragmatic issues, there were no rooms for such theme to rule. But now producer PL Thenappan is back in town with such concept for the film titled ‘Ayyannar’. The film is based on the mother-son relationships with Mirugam fame Aadhi enacting the lead role. Says the producer, ‘Aadhi has the face of both rough yet lovable looks and that’s the reason we chose him for it.’

The film will be shot in Karaikudi and few crossroad locations with Thaman of Moscowin Kaveri fame scoring music for 5 songs. Meera Nandan does the female lead role and Santhanam adds to the humor parts. Debutant Raja Mithran directs the film while Sethu Sriram is the cinematographer. Aadhi who hadn’t got more image in ‘Mirugam’ is expecting a lot with this film that it may add star value to him…
