Shruthi Haasan denies rumors of tribute for Michael Jackson

In remembrance of Pop King Michael Jackson, Music Director Praveen Mani has planned to host a grand show where the film industry’s leading musicians and playback singers will be participating in it. Earlier with accordance to this occasion, there were buzzes that Shruthi Haasan and her dad Kamal Haasan would be participating in this event. But Shruthi denies of the rumors about taking part in it.

She has penned an official letter regarding it as follows

Dear media friends,

I wish to express my sincere thanks to the media persons for the support they have been extending to my maiden Hindi venture Luck in which I have acted opposite Imran Khan. Directed by Sonam Shah and produced by Ashta Sidhi Vinayak Creations, the movie also features Mithun Chakraborthy and Sanjay Dutt. I am extremely happy and thrilled to note that the media has been generous enough to publish the news and photographs.

At the same time, I wish to clarify to the media personnel on the news report that appeared in certain section of media that I would be performing in a memorial concert along with my father ( Kamal Haasan) in the memory of pop legend Michael Jackson. I was approached in this regard by musician

Praveen Mani. Since I was busy with my previous commitments, I could not confirm my participation untill now.unfortunately I will be unable to attend this event due to previous commitments.
