Meena will continue acting after marriage

“Never give up even after the marriage,” seems to be the new slogan of most top actresses these days! South Indian actress Meena said she will also continue acting in films and television serials even after her marriage which is to be held in Tirupathi on July 12 with Vidyasagar, a Bangalore-based software engineer.

Spotted recently in Tirumala worshipping the lord and place the first invitation at His feet, Meena told mediapersons that she would continue her stint as an actress provided she gets meaty roles, both in television and films.

Meena, who debuted as a child artist nearly 27 years ago (Nenjangal) and later became a prominent heroine in 1991 (Oru Pudhiya Kathai), is still active as a heroine. She recently entered the small screen with Sathyajothi Films’s teleserial ‘Kalyanam’, being aired by Sun TV, and is currently busy with Vengamamba, a devotional film in Telugu, in which she plays the title role of saint-poetess Tarigonda Vengamamba.
