A.R. Rahman wins Two Filmfare Awards
2009 – An unforgettable year not merely for A.R. Rahman for all the Tamilians as the music director has been far-famed across the world. Rahman returned before couple of days back from Los Angeles wining 2 Oscars at the same time. Indeed, as he returned to Chennai The Tamil Cine Musicians’ Union felicitated him with prestigious honors.
A day earlier, he fled to Mumbai for the 54th Filmfare Awards fetching couple of awards for Best Music Director (Jaane Ya Tu Jaane Na) and Best Original Score (Jodha Akbar). Rahman was honored by the entire Bollywood celebrities who gathered there for the happening event.
