Vasu plans Chandramukhi 2 with Vishnuvardhan

Ace director P Vasu is all set to launch the shooting of Chandramukhi sequel. According to the director, he has completed the script work for this sequel and the shooting will start soon with the veteran actor in Kannada Vishnuvardhan.

Aapthamithra was one of the biggest blockbusters in Kannada, starring Vishnuvarthan and Soundarya in the lead.

The same movie was remade in Tamil with few changes in the script for Superstar Rajinikanth. Chandramukhi created many records and ran for 870 days in Chennai and became the Tamil film which ran for the longest number of days.

“I had planned this movie much earlier. When I completed Aapthamithra, Vishnuvardhan had requested me to prepare the second part of this film too.

Now the script work has been completed. I’m going to start the shooting from February onwards. But at present I’m not in a position to reveal anything about the sequel of Chandramukhi-2 in Tamil. Because it is not in my hands…” Vasu said.
