Namitha, Genelia in Top 10

According to a survey by Google, Namitha tops the list of Tamil actresses about whom internet users seek information. The survey also states that Namitha’s photos have been downloaded by more than 3.2 crore internet users!

Above all, Namitha is the only Tamil actress who has made it to the “Top 10 Searches on mobile phones”; please note – there are only two actresses on this list and Namitha is only two places behind Katrina Kaif!

Within a few months of the release of her Bollywood venture Jaane Tu Jaane Na, Tamil actress Genelia has secured rank 10 in the Top 10 Bollywood Celebrities list, a survey based on the number of searches on the internet. And they say that number is growing every day!

Though many would assume that Aishwarya Rai tops the Top 10 Bollywood celebrities list, in reality, it is Katrina Kaif who has taken that place by triggering “a hysterical search” on the internet these days. After years of being the “most searched-for actress on the internet”, Aishwarya Rai has stepped down to second place.

Others in the list include Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Mallika Sherawat and Shahrukh Khan.

In sports, Sachin Tendulkar is still the most popular name on the internet!
