Marmayogi to be shelved

We were the first ones to convey the news about Pyramid Saimira stepping out of this project. But, both the producers Kamal Haasan and Pyramid Swaminathan were rigid stating that it was all a rumor.

Incurring heavy loss with Kuselan, Pyramid Saimira’s hopes were lost. Amidst of it, Kamal Haasan approached Sun Pictures to produce the film. But nothing was really helpful and scenario reminded us off with the movie launch of Marudhanayagam. The film was launched so fantastically with Queen Elizabeth and everything flunked down.

Nevertheless, Kamal Haasan has hop-skipped to ‘Ellam Avan Seiyal’ to be produced by Gemini Film Circuit. Earlier, both of them had worked together for ‘Vasool Raja MBBS’. Venkatesh, Rishi Kapoor and Mohan Lal is expected to don lead roles along with Kamal Haasan in this film. Trisha, who had signed for 200-days schedule of Marmayogi, has now signed for another project with Vishal and Selvaraghavan starting off from January. Also, she has geared up with third shooting schedule of Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikalam directed by Gowtham Menon. Also Shriya Charan has signed up for Vishal project to be directed by Ayyappan titled ‘Thoranam’.

Above all, Kamal Haasan’s trimmed beard was more evident that he has some other plans to take off with. Padmashri would be meeting Director Lal for script discussion and soon things would be finalized.
