Acting in Mani Rathnam’s flick doesn’t make ones job so easier for he is well known for perfectionism. He wants his actors to breathe their lives in to the characterizations he designs.

Well, Aishwarya Rai plays the role of an Orthodox Brahmin girl in Mani Rathnam’s bilingual project and hence the auteur has requested her to learn Carnatic Music.

So, she has geared up learning the music from one of the well renowned musicians in the industry.

At present, she is staying down there in Mumbai taking care of her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan as he is seriously ill over past couple of days…

Soon after his recovery, she would be fleeting towards the shooting locations and resume back with her work.
