Songs of Poo top the audio-chart

It was falling in love with first sight for those who were lucky to be present for the occasion of audio launch of Poo. Three songs tuned in melodies by debutant S.S. Kumaran were screened and the enchanting cinematography by P.G. Muthaiah had made everyone falling in love with the film.

After successful ventures with ‘Sollamalae’, ‘Roja Koottam’ and ”Dishyum’, Director Sasi has completed shooting for the film ‘Poo’. This movie is about the love of a young girl and an engineering student.

In every love story, love plays the major role. However Poo takes that to another level, making the young girl’s love, life and her dreams the main aspects. Poo – A blossoming flower, takes a daring chance by angling the film to show the viewers the “real” story about a girl in the village.

Veteran ace Director Balu Mahendra, Director Ameer, IPS Thilakavathy, Actor Jeyam Ravi, Jeeva and many others were present for the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Director Balu Mahendra said that none of the young filmmakers of today are interested in reading books and novels, for they are addicted to DVDs. But that’s going to help them out in any way added and this scenario must take a change, added Balu Mahendra.

“We weren’t a part of film industry while Sasi Kumar’s Sollamalae was released. Soon after watching this film, me and Director Bala decided to work with Sasi Kumar as assistant directors. And now, after watching the songs of Poo, our desire to work with him still prolongs” said Director Ameer.

The film is produced as a joint venture of Moser Baer and Nesegee Cinemas.
